An award-winning writer, Julia Cho was born in Los Angeles and later moved with her family to Arizona. After studying English at Amherst College, she received master’s degrees from both UC Berkeley (in English Literature) and New York University (in Playwriting). She then went on to complete the playwriting program at The Juilliard School.
